- Foggy Bottom Ale draught bottled
- A pale ale made from pale and caramel malts. Hopped with Tettnang, Hallertau, and Cascade hops. The name refers to the DC neighborhood where the pre-prohibition Heurich Brewery stood. It is brewed under contract by F. X. Matt.
- Size
- Expected 1995 Production: ??? bbl
- Availability
- Closed 2006 or 2007.
- Comments
- The company last had headquarters in the old Christian Heurich mansion. Although there had been rumors for years about them building a brewery, the owner, Gary Heurich, remained a contract brewer. Heurich apparently held extended discussions with Old Dominion Brewing Co regarding a possible merger, but these never bore fruit.
- Both beers were fairly unremarkable.
