    • Pagan Porter
    • Cherry Blossom Ale (Cherry Wheat)
    • Spiced Christmas Ale
    • Manchester Cream Ale
  • A variety of guest beers are available in both bottled and draught form. These tend to include Domestic and Imported light lagers (Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Rolling Rock, Molsen, Heineken, etc) as well as more interesting products (Bass, Pete's, Guinness, etc). They also reserve one tap for a local specialty beer.
  • Generally, two of their own beers are available in cask-conditioned form on handpump at all times. If you are unfamiliar with cask-conditioned "Real Ale", you may find these warmer and lower in carbonation than you are used to. This is, however, the traditional British method of storing and serving beer. The Wharf Rat is one of the very few US pubs to provide Real Ale.
  • For non-beer drinkers, Wharf Rat also carries Blackthorn Cider. For a non-alcoholic treat, try the Dominion Rootbeer, brewed by [micros.html#od Old Dominion Brewing Company] in Virginia.
Food: British-style pub fare.
  • A wide variety of appetizers are available. Most of them are creative seafood dishes, but there are several "normal" British and American pub foods on the menu.
  • Salads, soups, and sandwiches are available.
  • Entrees include British and American-style meals such as Fish And Chips, Crab Cake, Meat Loaf, and Ploughman's Lunch.
